Nine times out of ten, our portfolio companies are run by the people who founded them. They are the people who created the proprietary technology or product, who cornered the leading market position, who know their business the best. Our job is to provide the funding and perspective to get them excited again.
What we look for:
- A history of profitable growth, generating at least $2 million of EBITDA in industries that are at least $500 million in size and growing.
- A solid and proven management team who is committed to the business and its future.
- Companies from a wide range of industries serving both the manufacturing and service sectors, with a geographical preference for North America.
- Companies with growth potential that can benefit from the capital, perspective and strategic global resources we offer, whether through acquisitions, product development or international expansion.
- We seek investment structures with majority ownership, through tax-efficient Common Stock aligned with managments’ interests.
- Our capital structure is set up to enable ownership transition for closely-held or family-owned companies, and allows for recapitalizations and leveraged build-ups, management buyouts, and/or corporate divestitures.
